Lucky Highstepper

So i have set aside all the joyous musical alias' for the new one LUCKY HIGHSTEPPER. In fact a highstepper dj mix is up and a tune is being released in a matter of days on beatport, itunes and all decent musical repositories. The Method is currently deep in cuts on Game Rebellion , The forthcoming kung fu beats project and also remixes for The Jammys (jam band annual show). Also check out the recent SKINS tv show mix from the recent SKINS Tour.

Last week i played a chilled out gig with my friends Maigin Blank and Zac Mediatronica at East Coast Aliens, a beautiful photographic studio space in Brooklyn run by Jared. The next night I rocked out with A&D at their Bootie night at the Vault in Manhattan, it's America's mashup night so it was the perfect audience. Eclectic Method will be at Bootie San Francisco & LA in the summer.

We've upload We're Not Vjs & Lock Up Your Videos as mp3 dj mixes for you all to download and listen to. Also check our ZeitGhost mix (first in series of up to the moment remixes). And this Friday MORE IRONIC THAN YOU with Reggie Watts, me & Le Chev, it will be the last Eclectic Method public show in New York for a few months so come check it,check it out.

SunsetSkinsMITUStax

SLEEP, it doesn't have to be a dream. It's been a hectic couple of weeks but immensely enjoyable. Ian and Geoff flew into New York to play with me for the DVD Launch party at our new home Galapagos. It was a great party and i was sad to see the guys go they couldn't stay longer because they had a 7 date, 7 city , 10 day tour around the UK for SKINS TV Show. Some special Skins remixes are coming out soon. I met up with DJ Spooky for the first time in ages and we worked together on making a live video megamix show for STAX Records... classic Isaac Hayes, Staple Singers and Booker T & The MGs all mashed up was good fun. As we were making that the Will.I.Am Obama video "Yes We Can" came out, to show our support for Obama we knocked out a video remix of it, which is out there in various formats.

Early last week i went to California with Martha & Justin B where we spent a few days in the sun and by the pool (yes even in early Feb). I love California man, i never been that keen on LA but California is an astonishing place. We also met our good friend John Turk who we hadn't seen in ages, John is one of the people responsible for bringing us to the US lots of times and in turn made me feel like i never want to leave. Thursday night we did a DVJ set for our friends BluHammock at Sunset Sessions in Carlsbad near San Diego, massive thanks to Karl Detken for once again helping us out with the Pioneer vitals. The show was fascinating, James Blunt was playing in the courtyard and the whole thing was hosted on a massive luxury golfing resort. After finishing the gig we went straight to the airport and came back to NYC to set up for our first ever More Ironic Than You night (MITU), once again at Galapagos. The night was amazing, thanks to everyone who showed up we were so happy with the turn out, at one point we had to turn people away because it was too full and we're really sorry to folk we turned away. Reggie Watts lead proceedings amazingly and the Cuban Brothers did an astonishing performance for the Brooklyn crowd. Really looking forward to next one on 22nd.

At moment we are working on a video remix for the excellent Rick Rubin project from Game Rebellion, we are working on Jam Band Megamixes for the Jammys and also a remix for a forthcoming Cuban Brother's single, at least that's what i remember we're supposed to do.

Lock Up Your Videos

So these days the Method is often spread out across the globe, presently Geoff is in London, Ian is in LA and I am in New York. Well we are all getting together this month on 26th Jan at Galapagos for the full on Eclectic Method AV Set for the launch party of our brand new mix DVD "Lock Up Your Videos". The DVD is released on the same day and the full details will be on the home page.

We are starting a regular night at Galapagos with Justin of Learned Evolution, the night is called "More Ironic Than You" MITU and will start on 8th Feb. Eclectic Method is gonna be doing the resident DVJ spot each time, we are extra pysched to have the whole thing MC'd/Entroduced by the Disinformationist Reggie Watts. We got some extra special guests and DJs in the first few nights as well. Waiting to hear about a possible appearance from our mates the Cuban Bros on the first night. More to come.

Been spending all my free time listening to brand new tracks from the end of 07/ beginning of 08. I am loving Deadmau5 and absolutely hooked to the tune "The Reward Is Cheese" that he worked on. Also made this Iggy Pop Remix.

The Misely Boosh

Throughout the years remixing video we have on occasion put our not so technically legal mixes up on sites like youtube. In all the years we have done this people have rarely got angry about it. In fact Larry from U2 called us up after seeing our Entourage mix and indeed HBO have been really good in recognising we mean them no harm but are in fact big fans of their shows. Also as we tend to never use longer then 5 second clips they usually realise that all we are doing is promoting and extending their content rather then ruining the plot for anyone who should wish to watch the show. BUT there are those who have nothing better to do with their time and in the entire time we have been doing this two youtube videos have been removed, The Family Guy Remix by FOX and yesterday the Mighty Boosh remix got removed.

Two years ago me and Geoff played with The Mighty Boosh guys in Manchester and we played them the mix. They all gave the thumbs up and actually said "thank you" to us for remixing the Mighty Boosh. However their prodution company Two Cow Productions decided having a mix up of Mighty Boosh was a danger to their copyright. The reason i find this interesting is I guess it has absolutely nothing to do with the artists themselves who create the show. I really doubt they liked the remix but two years later remembered it and wanted it taken down. Same way I doubt FOX's decision had anything to do with the Creatives who made the excellent "family guy". Basically anyone who knows me knows that lawyers are not my favourite people, but this is ridiculous. We were not losing these people money and we remixed such things out of the upmost respect for the people who made it. But if the Boosh don't want people engagin with them in that way so be it. To the labels, production companies out there, the future is not so crystal clear.

Apes & Androids & Obama

Last night Morgan from Apes & Androids asked me to do a DVJ set to close up their Christmas party. They played an excellent set before hand and I up the party with special Christmas video set. Feels like it's 2007 done with now. Gonna hibernate with a ton of clips and make some video remixes for early 08 media propaganda distribution.

Also made a recent Obama Vs Clinton video mash title the Media Hype Mix:

NYC AV Studio

So for a while me, Mediatronica , Madhouse and Lars DVJ Vision have been scheming to start a fully dedicated AV production studio based at Madhouse in NYC. Well last week we finally got our room sorted out and Lars brought round the Pioneer SVM1000 mixer which is out next year feb08. This was the first time I've got to spend any time with the mixer and I friggin love it. It's got 4 video inputs, you can fade between them, crossfade, scratch crossfade nothing that i am aware of exists like this. One of the best things about it is we can now do live video and audio effects simultaneously, check the below player for a view of my first jams with it.

Last night i was at the Ultra Record's offices to play their christmas party with musical video house mashup mixery. Had good fun and also Patrick at Ultra told us that the Public Enemy/Benny Benassi "Bring The Noise" remix that we made the video for has been nominated for a Grammy. Also made a megaplaylist online player with as many Eclectic Method videos as i could fit and also we uploaded our classic 2003 Christmas mix "Haul The Decks" for easy viewing.

Digi Wattz

Recently been making videos and experiments with the excellent comedian/musician/beatboxer/soulsinger that is Reggie Watts. One of our first experiments was the computer video virus Digi Watts. The next night Reggie came back as we had a little live AV Beatbox jam session on the roof at Madhouse , our home in NYC.

Last night I did a DVJ set at a christmas party in Tribeca for Tony V, some of my tracks have just been added to his ThwakIT music service. Tommorrow I am gonna be at 3rd Ward in Brooklyn during the day showing how to jam with DVJs and also doing a bit of a set. Also the classic Eclectic Method Christmas video mix from 2003 "HAUL THE DECKS" is now live and streamable in easy to watch Televis.es player right here. Also if you wanna spread the christmas cheer the embed code is:

<embed src="http://www.televis.es/v/630 " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" width="514" height="384"></embed>

Nu Skool

Yesterday I went along with Dan Winckler and  Pioneer DVJ Set-up to his VJ-U class at the Urban Assembly School of Music and Art to explain a bit about what we do and let students jam with the gear. We also did a session with DJ High Deph's Scratch Class and let some of his excellent young scratch masters check out video scratching.

And we put up the CLASSIC and as yet unreleased in it's entirity "Telecommunication Breakdown" from EBN on VIDEOMIX.ES. Later that day Talvin Singh dropped by 240 to visit us about video remix projects with the Method and global uploadable video interaction, more to come on all that soon.

Bring The Noise

So as i probably mentioned a million times before I have moved permenantly to New York City. Recently we been talking to Ultra Records here about doing a few projects and they asked us to make the latest Public Enemy videos. The tracks are remixes of the classic "Bring The Noise" done by Benny Benassi and Ferry Corsten. The footage we used for both videos was from quite a recent gig from PE at BB King's venue. This was just a lot of fun and we have been dying to have an acapella video for Bring The Noise so now we got one.

We have moved all AV blogging to www.videomix.es and we got a cool team of some of our favourite AV artists from around the world writing. We are slowly trying to develop a hub for all the cool AV that goe's on and in time we will be building the site out a lot more. Contributors at the moment include Robotkid, Lars DVJ Vision & Jonathan Hammond. Also Eclectic Method has fully finished the "Lock Up Your Videos" DVD, the follow up to 2004's "We're Not VJs". It's gonna be on full release before Christmas so we are super pysched, check the main page for details. Also we put up a video of a recent DVJ mashup set for Halloween at Galapagos in Brooklyn. Ian has done some absolutely mental collecting of films, tv and media in general, some of that prevelent in the DVJ set from Galapagos, including the Hello's from a 100 movies.

Other then that I have been working on music and remixes. Been finishing off videos and tracks for my Shift Clique project with Maigin Blank and also working on a few other tracks (in production capacity) for other acts, more to come. Maigin was recently featured on the front of mp3.com for her solo projects. Also recently made some audio remixes for APSCI, Santogold and Fischerspoon will no doubt link to them when they come out, Jonny out.

Video Drumming
Wow thanks to everyone who came to the last two shows in NYC. The Thwak party at the Highline Ballroom was incredibly fun. We showed off the video drum project we've been developing with Tony Verderosa. Last Saturday I did a special halloween set at Galapagos for Crooked Disco, was good fun check the little video. Thanks to Justin B at Learned Evolution for the production sorting and help. Jonathan Hammond has released the first version of his excellent video mixing software for Mac. Check his site YOU CAN BE SPECIAL TOO , the software acts as a plugin for Ableton (amongst other things) allowing you to mix, remix audio and video live multi-screen on one laptop. Pretty friggin nice. Also READ MY EGO.

MobileJamming
Obviously through process of constantly playing with jamming video we get to thinking about this remixing as a game. We've been knocking together loads of models of music video remixing and jamming both as a game as editing systems like the Sony Vegas software and Pioneer DVJ DVD turntables we currently use to remix things. Early this year we did this event in London where we incorporated Mobile Phones into our show, playing music video loops and riffs of a moble phone plugged into a mixer with cameras on the phone. The idea has crept off into lots of other things since like audience participatory wifi/bluetooth jamming with their mobile phones.

One of our initial designs however was a very simple collectors mobile video jamming game in which various mobile phones are sync'd rhythmically together over bluetooth and now on wifi (on newer mobile phones) each phone would feature different musical video clips and many different people close together could sync phones and jam clips together. This game is currently in development on many levels as one of projects we are working on with Mediatronica.

NYCbeat

I am spending some time in New York making stuff and going to be doing some gigs, check live dates for details. We did a bunch of UK gigs last month ending with a support slot for Fat Freddy's Drop at the Astoria where we did a special Fat Freddy's orianted video mash up mix. We are currently working on an extended mix for FFD. Following on with our ever developing rhythmical fighting kung fu video beats stuff we are now preparing a remix project for the next Jet Li movie "War" more on that soon.

We are also finishing up video battle breaks version 1 from which the first bunch of clips are available for free on the djsounds site. The battle breaks will be a collection of AV Clips and also Acapella Videos for jamming over any instrumental. Tools for DVJs to play with. Most recent original filmings were last week with beatboxing comedian Reggie Watts.

Don't know if we updated this link anywhere but you can now download the Eclectic Method 2007 DVD in .zip format ready to burn your own dvd. Also completely been astounded by live examples of the holographic vizoo device. Can't wait to get a device that scratches 3d cgi video in a hologram.

MusicVideos

Wow so since early May i was knocked out tired after being sick for a good 45 days. Have just started feeling better and gradually emptying my flat sorting out computers getting ready to move. At same time some stuff I've been working on for a while is about to come out. Firstly STELLA ATTAR 's new tune Ousa Musica is due for video release on the web very soon, official release of tune to follow soon after. Stella's track JUMP also features as our first Video Acapella on Pioneer's DJsounds site in the DVJ Loops section.  Also Stella's bloke Jason Attar , who is also making the Ousa video, made quite a while ago this excellent show "Moonwalkin Across America" part one of which is up on HavocTV.

The Method's been deep in remix we mashing up so much just now. We just finished a remix for a new tune from Faithless.  We've also started an AudioVisual blog /reportage on the global AV Scene to be found at av.troni.ca.

Also check this brilliant new music video from Bosnian group Zoster made by Tony.....

New York Zebras

Been out with some sort of obscure virus forever. Still knackered put tomorrow we are all supposed to be New York so let's see how it goe's, might spend most of my time in Hotel Beds. Have discovered an excellent though illigitamite site called TV LINKS, which allows you stream hundreds of tv shows and films there and then. So we will be playing at EYEBEAM and the REMIX Hotel in NYC this week, then back to get back on doing official George Michael remixes. The U2 Vertigo video remix is now up on ourhomepage.

Been completely out of it so trying to organise the stuff that's been piling up. We got some videos up on Pioneer's DJ SOUNDS website and we are making some AV CLips, from our forthcoming Battle Breaks DVDs, up on it. We have been up to much crazyiness in Second Life with the Zebra Lovers, Pavl Duke has been developing more virtual tech. As well as that we've set up a website for reporting on the AudioVisual world in general. We want to write about the history of acts and also cover some of the very cool new av remixers we've come across like  Imme_dch!kmo and Jay J.

Check out this AV remix we made for THC in Japan:

Asia-MiddleEast-USA

OK so KL and Bangkok where wicked but nothing quite compared to the experience of Vietnam. Perticulairly loved the 17 simultaneous interviews we got into on our first morning. Plus the institute of art was packed a had beautiful multi projection screen, multi plasma screen set up and even B-Boys doing mid air 360 degree flips. I always find the abundance of B-Boys from Japan to Abu Dhabi a surprise. Sort of like America is wasting their time sending soldiers everywhere, maybe they should be sending Grand Master Flash. The joyous experience of Vietnam was only topped off by our fun pre-gig afternoon with Musician/Composer Minh and Nga at the British Council letting me ride her scooter round the BC Car park. Weemploredthem to send us more local music videos for one we came next time. In fact in the hotel there was a trio of string players who played all types of classical music and then moved on to sorts of Asian Classical Music. Was my first awareness of our Asian's pay attention to our culture on how little we pay to theirs.

From their we took 3 flights ( I didn't sleep) straight to Abu Dhabi where we got off the plane into a car and straight to gig where we meet Flo Fader, J-Live and Oddissee aka Amir, who would spend a week touring the middle east with. Was particularly keen on the experience, was an amazing opportunity and don't regret it at all but the banning of Skype and over priced Internet as well as certain cultural controls made me feel a bit uneasy. One very positive aspect to UAE (United Arab Emirates) was their newspapers seemed to represent a complete 50/50 mix of culture from Western Europe (like Big Brother) and Eastern Asian Culture (like Bollywood). Soon i would be off to the States so was very grateful to get a taste of a more global affair. Bahrain (where Michael Jackson has a house) was crazy, it is just a bridge away from Saudi Arabia and from what i could tell Saudis came over the bridge to drink booze and play pool with Short skirted Filipino girl's, hey whatever your into. We did two gigs in Bahrain, the second in a night club which really kicked off, especially when J-Live joined us on the MIC an ad-libbed and free styled over our mashings to get the crowd going. We played an extra 30 minutes then headed straight to our plane for the final gig in Doha, Qatar, a cruel 25minute flight.

Qatar was basically spent mostly with me and Geoff chilling by the pool and drinking coffee. I had given up smoking everything and even drinking E number drinks so a sudden coffee was like crack too me, ah good times. I came back to UK for 24 hour before setting on a flight for New York for a “holiday” with my girlfriend. Had a great welcome to New York at JFK by a guy named Jonny at Immigration who had exactly the same birthday as me and also knew my friend Jeremy well, a bit like a new everyone in NYC, which i don't.

Greg managed to get me in a few meetings and although being constantly at 240 Madison i still managed to get out and knacker myself walking around New York. Didn't seem to make any of the tourist destinations as usual, always as we were about to go to Guggenheim or the top of the rock of the Empire State something happened to stop us going. Ah well, next time. Also managed finally to get an evening to kick back and chill with Justin B and Liz which i have never yet managed to do yet, work never permitting. Me and Justin also went into his basement studio and played with his loop pedals, beatboxing, playing drums and guitars, more fun then i've had since riding a scooter round the car park in Vietnam.

Kuala Lumpur
Living from a bag can be a laugh sometimes. Every time we do this sort of thing i manage to get a little better at it. This time i feel almost professional, although professional is an odd word to use for what we do. Before I left my lady bought my Skype phone so have been able to talk to everyone like i never left ( i bet their all overjoyed). Currently though it is 2am in London, 11am here so no one to bother by phone. Today I will be getting on with cutting up videos for our forthcoming podcast. Spoke to both Ian and Geoff on hotel phone and they both sound like working and kicking back is thing to do, we are in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, btw. Last night we went out with Lianna to very nice restaurant after the DVJ workshop. I have managed to just sit around watching folk smoke resisting the urge to spark up the biggest burnable inhalible i can find. Man ex-smokers moan so bloody much as well. Anyway not much to report, i wrote everything on reports page, except for that nice gay man in Bangkok who kept on wanting to tweak my nipples. Or what is over the bloody counter in pharmacy's. I split my writings between here and reports page at moment so don't want to repeat myself so much. We put up a bunch of video of this tour but after watching it i am not telling anyone where.

Bangkok - KL
Wow Bangkok what a place. I love Asia every town i visit i love Hong Kong, Tokyo, KL, wherever Asia is one of my favorite-ist places to be in the world. Loving the Thai food.  So got to airport with the boys and downed a bunch of Valium and slept through most of the 11 hour flight, waking up one hour before arriving in Bangkok to have breakfast. We got off plane to 38 degrees sweats, is lovely I am a bit of a lizard and LOVE the heat. We were met at the airport by a London Taxi organized by British Council where we went to meet David, Andrew and Mod and get straight into a workshop showing people what we do, explaining it, handing out the new stickers Geoff just got made.

We then made our way off to dinner and then to find a pharmacy the joy of a country where Valium and xanax are over the counter. Thanks so much to Greg for helping me obtain such naughtiness. I then went to bed with aid of Xanax and Ian went out to rip the town apart. Before that whoever we went to the red light area to have a look at the debauched and crazy women on sale in bars there, pure pure wrongness. Even had a few lady boys try to grab us by the arm. Just as i was feeling the guilt of being a man we decide to leave and i went to the hotel. Just before though, amongst the wrongness we met an elephant who i got to hug, which felt like such a privileged, i ain't no hippy but i love elephant

I just recently am trying to stop smoking and also drinking but still hitting the caffeine and occasional E-numbers. The next day was amazing, for first time ever my body clock just fell straight into Asian time. Geoff and me sat by the pool whilst we waited for Ian to awake, he joined us around 4pm just before sound check. We then went for coffee and drinks with Mod.

JFK reportage
Well i am sitting in BA Business Lounge at JFK, Nicely arranged by BA themselves for gig we did for them. We don't travel whole world business class, in fact this is only my 4th business flight in 4 years. Geoff described it once as “i don't want to get off the plane once it's landed”. I have done something fairly silly and arrived at airport about 5 hours before my plane so I have time to kill. Thought i would write up general occurrences whilst i am here.

NY has been excellent, the Time Life party on Thursday was cool, then we did 2 free parties in 1 night thanks to the amazing co-ordination of a bunch of people. Firstly Justin & Baz our close friends who re-appear throughout our “blogs” organized a gig for us in less then 48 hours and rammed the club we were playing in that time, all through their Learned Evolution Company. Also that night Laura, Rob, Craig and the whole team at Madhouse including our good friends and close media project partners Greg & Eli @ Mediatronica organized a party at Penthouse rooftop of Madtronica (Mediatronica & Madhouse's collective organization). Laura especially was running around after us (poor girl) filming, sorting, recording, shipping equipment, handling flights. Thanks Laura. The rooftop party was an excellent laid back affair showing the chilled mix style and later that night the Williamsburg Brooklyn club was brilliant sweaty rocking affair. Also a massive thanks to Karl Detken at Pioneer USA for shipping us Pioneer DVJs and other equipment at break neck speed.

After Brooklyn we went drinking with Baz and Justin and other friends until the early morning. Geoff and I then went to live at Madtronica at Madison Avenue whilst Ian continued his visit in Brooklyn. We found it impossible to sleep surrounded by our setup, 16th floor rooftop view of Manhattan skyline and untold electronic gadgets. Cannot believe the incredibly ( and i mean astonishingly) nice Rob & Craig entrusted us to look after their place for the weekend.

The next day after the party Geoff filmed himself Scratching up Madhouse's DVD portfolio. I began capturing umpteen tapes that Laura and others had filmed from 3 gigs in 2 days. We both just marveled at the surrounding mass of editing and music technology as well as enjoying one of the first times we have had to sit down together and create stuff for at least a month.

We spent whole weekend with Greg,Eli and Eric one of lead programmers at Mediatronica. One night i tried to stay up with the working machine that is Eli. I passed out on a Sofa with Eli sitting next to me only to awake a few hours later with Eli still in same place. He described it as “once you hit the 5th wind on the third day thats when the real ideas flow”. Eric himself was mid flow on Mediatronica huge project they are building whilst i sat next to him incessantly questioning him about Programming.

Geoff and Ian flew back on Monday, and i spent an extra two days on Greg's sofa as i commonly do hitting his Tivo like a madman. The Colbert Report still not shown in UK and Daily Shows are transmitted week or weeks later, So i hit Greg's collection avidly. So much exciting stuff up for us this year i am finding it hard to sleep sometimes another U2 mix next week or something artists who's names i am not even allowed to mention. So now i am looking forward to the journey home to see my lady who i am missing throughly and only have 4 days with this month. We are off to Asia for a tour organized by the British Council and our good mate Lianna in KL, Malaysia. Then we are off to Middle East which i am really excited about. I have been trying to find middle eastern music videos of all sorts to not much avail, anybody got any links email me/us, we are desperate to represent a global community whenever we remix.

Global Mo Jam

Been uncharacteristically chilling in Oxford countryside this weekend, i had a laptop. We currently at work on our next extensive and funk podcast for Havoc a new project being worked on by our collaborators Mediatronica. A lot more global media mashup projects coming form us collectively in coming months. Our present podcast Number 4 is up on the podcast page. We've been working further on the Mojamming concept, mixing music videos off mobile phones now but also syncing the phones for multi player video jamming.

Stella Attar has been busy making the video for the tune “Ousa Musica” in fact we putting the release date back a bit for completion of hysterical puppets and music video for this tune.

Mashala has a few tunes coming out on various labels. Most notably Total Wipes in coming days. Also Jason Attar who is working on the Ousa Musica video is also putting out his own comedy show “Moonwalking across America” out on Havoc next month. You can check a trailer / teaser here.

Cutswift has set up yet another “BRAND NEW” you tube page as well as the secretive wackkuntucky and official Eclectic Method youtube page all pumping video remixes into the web. We are currently working on video lessons in remixing/beatmappingbeatmapping and editing video clips for Pioneer's DJ Sounds Website and also just everyone in general as well as some Video Battle Breaks to get budding AV remixers going. You can see a really embarrassing video example from me explaing how to edit/beatmap a video clip with Sony Acid & Vegas. This week we off to my favorite place, New York , we might possibly be putting on a impromptu part on a rooftop or maybe a Brooklyn basement somewhere. Best place to find out is write here on this blog page.

MoJam

So we had first gig of the year at VJ Anyone's AV Social Night in London. After that we went to play the Meteor Music Awards in Dublin and hang out / get drunk with Steve and Sculley at Modern Green. In fact we went back the next week to play at the nearly refurbished Tripod which we had not played for a while, in fact was the Redbox last time we played and has had several names in between. Seriously wicked setup with 10 big projection screens spread out in the main room.

Our latest gig was at Attica in London where we were trying out some new project we've been working on, MoJAM. Step one playing/mixing music videos of a mobile phone. More to come on such things. Next up we're off to New York then Asia.

January Recovery Program

Wow nearly the whole month went by. In sort of semi-hibernation mode with occasional sneak out of the city or country. Real ridiculous travel doesn't start for us till March but then we get to see a whole load of Asia. Been mostly filming, remixing and making. Working on tracks for Stella Attar's forthcoming album, first track Ousa Musica can be heard on her myspace page. It's out next month. Also bunch of new Mashala material we just fixing up. The next U2 remix, a video remix of Vertigo is out soon more on the main page no doubt. More official remixes coming soon, almost no time for the bootleg no more. Working with our good friends Greg and Eli at mediatronica on some new internet media stuff we will be putting up next month. This weekend we playing at the AV Social, a new regular audio and visual club for London Town. Also been working with Kevin Powder some of his stuff from the C4 Transmission show up on youtube now. Glasgow and Belfast being perticular favs.

Brazil and back

Brazil was excellent. Spent most our time hanging around with Facundo. We played two nights in a row in Sao Paulo, doing Uncut then Vegas. Then we chilled for the rest of the time, saw a Samba band practice, looked at parks, art and did a workshop on DVJs. Ate a lot of meat and swam a lot, not a good combination. Even the first club had a pool.

All followed by a really rushed visit to Dublin in Ireland in which Heathrow flight chaos played in our favour getting us there comfortably late. Since then been a combination of sleeping and catching up on stuff. We've finished our U2 remixes zootv, vertigo mix and another megamix. Over Christmas we've just been preparing our next megamixes for the New Year.

Besides making videos, sleeping and playing Ian's Xbox I been working on finishing up tracks for various musical projects like Mashala & Hal Reedy and also working on some finishing production on tracks for some other folk like Stella Attar.  Merry holiday period and new year and all.

Resfest Amsterdam

Resfest Amsterdam was wicked fun. Even considered just moving to Amsterdam now. Thanks to Jonathan and Evan for looking after us.

Thanks to all who came to Paradiso to see us play. Was indeed LOADS of fun for us. Pioneer had also sorted us with a ridiculous pile of DVJs which made a fun game of video mashery that night. I've been getting ready for Xmas been crazy busy making remixes, which I'm not allowed to show or talk about. So think Xmas is going to be Computer/Remix time.

Now we off to Brazil to play Sao Paulo and Rio under the guidance of the legenedary Facundo. I have just enough time to upload a bunch of shizznizz including First U2 mix we now allowed to put on our site, next mix coming ultra soon, might even happen whilst we're away. Then Dublin then home for Christmas and taking it easy/ sitting in front of PC cutting shit up.

Gijon Film Festival

So we just recently been to Gijon in Spain for the Film Festival. Was great fun, we played before Andy Weatherall. A Massive thanks to Roger our spanish agent and Eva for taking care of us. Ian had just got back from New Zealand so he slept the day whilst me and Geoff pretty much walked in circles round the nice streets till it was soundcheck time. The Virgin Megastore thing was wicked got to meet the Mighty Boosh posse, show and give em the remix we made for them which we of course slipped into the set as well.

We put up the classic "Haul The Decks" Christmas Mix up in the video podcast section of the site. Which i think we made in 2003, maybe 2002. Anyway we wheel out every Christmas, and how can't we it's the Christmas mix, no point ever trying to do it again, everytime I watch it I crack up. Also a joyous bunch of videos spliced that we would never mix nowadays but i still enjoy.

Zoo Circle

Ok gonna go on a bit in this one, something I avoid doing on our reports page. Fairly honest blog and maybe a bit boring for most of you, switch off now......

Recently U2 got in touch via their management, apparently they checked our videos on YouTube and wanted us to do remixes for them. We started about a month ago and our first efforts are now up on U2.com. This became quite a strange situation for a me and something of a circle in my life. I was initially allowed (by my Dad) to quit school if Brian Eno, who was friendly with my old man, said I had any sort of talent at cutting shit up or music as some people refer to it. Basically Brian said yes and then offered to help me out much in the way of sitting in on things he did which only very recently have realised made me think in a completely different way.

I then ended up moving to Bosnia with my Dad and continue working with Brian when he was out there as well as getting to work in a cool arsed studio, teach other kids how to use samplers and decks and get some shit out. Some of whom I am proud to say still make tunes and DJ today and are quite good at it. The Studio I worked at was fundamentally supported by Brian Eno and his partner at time/ manager Anthea but also through U2's support of that centre and Bosnia in general. We ended up involved with and at their gig in Sarajevo with the Giant Lemon.

Earlier this year I got in touch with Greg Deocampo (of EBN) and start making collaboartive method/deocampo works but also just became close friends. EBN had done those amazing video screen setups and all the synchronized visuals in the U2 ZooTV tour. They have also worked with Brian Eno previously and Matt Black of Coldcut who fundamentally honed me into doing Video and supported me throughout 1997 till now with music and even dosh sometimes, thanks Matt, i probably don't say that enough. Matt also made me watch EBN for the first time to explain why him and Hexstatic had started what they did. Anyway now i am just babbling. It's all a strange sort of circle, but i can understand intensely boring to anyone except me, hence it being on my blog page which i don't link to and tend to hide. If you read all that...... thanks.

Mashala - Phonkay
As well as that track me, Ian and Paul Belben made making it onto the fifty pills film (called "Soul to the Devil" i think), this week also sees the release of the new Mashala EP on Grooved Music called "Phonkay". It features 3 tracks... PHONKAY which is me playing shoody guitar licks cutup to make me sound like i'm playing really funky guitar stuff in a sort of daft punky style. BELBEN which is pretty majorly based around a bass lick from Paul Belben my beats and finally honed to audio perfection by Narcis. And finally MASHALA ONE our hard arsed bring out the synths track.

Resfest - zouk - Singapore

I am in one of the moments now where i haven't slept on the plane from singapore but I don't want sleep throughout the day so as to not knock my sleeping pattern off wack. But i am also completely useless today, Geoff doesn't seem to suffer from Jet Lag at all, he seems impervious to long haul flights. I guess we lost track of time but arrived in Singapore on Friday completely clueless we were playing that night at Zouk for RESFEST 10. We were met at hotel (just around the corner from Zouk) by DJ Aldrin who took care of us and wait in the lobby whilst we chucked our bags down and ran for soundcheck. The Zouk staff had already completely set up our entire live setup from diagrams perfectly so no need to worry much. Played a stomping set to our rammed Zouk main room then lost Ian and got too drunk till the sun came up. Slept forever went for a swim.

DJ Aldrin sorted us out with some healthy food in the evening then drove us to hook up with DJ Koflow ex-DMC Champion of Singapore and old friend one of my oldest friends Kim. Played about Scratching, admiring Koflow's setup and MPC sampler which we knocked out beats on until Dharni arrived, Koflows super talented beat boxer friend who ian filmed on the spot. I then went back to hotel to pass out for an age again whilst Ian and Geoff went club jumping around Singapore.

Also we made a hiphopish tune, Ian Rapping, me mixing producing and Paul Belben playing Slide Guitar and Bass and basically the main melody, i even sang on it. We made it for a laugh a bit of a joke. But it's made it's way onto this US movie called "50 pills" which is coming out soon. Me singing, Ian rapping, classic , i'm never playing it to anyone.

Bitfilm Hamburg

So we went for a great weekend to Hamburg to play and talk at BitFilm. First up massive thanks to the throng of folk how showed up to shake their booties on friday night and the further throng who showed up on saturday to ask us how we did. Also ended up blowing half my dj fee on the local arcades under our hotel.

As oppossed to spending all my money in the various local brothels, why to they put us to rock in the red light district. Anyway was wicked, the tent and main building event was solidly fun. I rarely left the festival except as i say to go play arcades. Race Geoff, shoot people with Ian. Also the day before leaving for Hamburg we went to Pioneer UK to give a masterclass (masterclass) with James Zabiela.

Fulham Palace - Budapest

What a rollercoaster. Last week has been fantastically fun it's been hard to sleep. Start with me getting some stiches removed. A crazy rush for the MLS (American Soccer League Mashup) meant little sleep between working LA time with guys there and getting up 8am. Then we played at Fulham Palace in an Amazing tent, interlocking tunnel system in gardens. The room we played was surrounded with 8 projectors, every single wall had video on it , best visual set up we have every played in. That night I also got to see my old friend Johnny Borrell who i hadn't seen since around 2001 at the beginning of Eclectic Method. We both went to same school played guitars together before I went the route of the sample. He was also playing that night and is now singer of the group Razorlight. The next night we went to play with VJ Anyone in Budapest at a VJ Battle/Cinetrip/Bunch of other stuff. So we left Fulham palace at 1am ish and got in cab for Luton 3 hours later. Budapest was cool though we got first chance to try a DJM800 / DJM909 video mixing combo, scratching two DVJs at once, which was wicked fun. Also the guy who booked us Krisztian Forrai was also someone i had spoke to 5 years previous about Coldcut tour we were organising throughout ex-yugosalvia. Only just realised that on the plane. Now i must sleep. Addidas MLS mashups are up.

Still Home Still Jamming

Life nowadays seem to be split between times where for 2 weeks we will travel to 6-8 different places and then those few weeks in between where we don't have gigs. These are the times i kick back with my computer and make sh*t. Palm Pictures asked us a while back via our boy Justin B in New York to remix up some Palm DVDs. So first of all we made a remix a bunch of cult Jamaican films and wicked wicked Island Records music tracks. Boy that was fun. Right after that we got down to mixing together the two films Scratch & Freestyle, which is basically along with Fatboyslim the best thing anyone has ever paid me to do. We have already been using the two films for years so splicing them was an effort to keep down to just two minutes. We sat around my house scratching freestyle for hours, Ian cutting up Mos Def and Supernatural to full effect. Also we got to watch Scratch again and again and call it work , jaw never stays open at some of q-bert's stuff.

Also check out this old Palm Pictures mix including freestyley bits but also some classic american (folk?) music. At moment right now we cutting like b£st*^ds getting remixes finished for Addidas MLS mashup thingy. American Soccer league (we call it Football in UK). We got two days to mashup two bands and two teams from two towns, twice, so that's four bands and four towns right, man i'm lost. Anyway check out Ozomatli and Polyphonic Spree in it, can't be bad can it.

This thursday we playing at Fulham Palace then flying in the early AM to Budapest for a VJ Battle. Here's a photo greg made (adapted) of me, which is amazing because i'm pretty dysfunctional looking in real life:

Home & Jammin

What a joyfully busy time at home these days. Can't seem to sleep before 4am most nights. Making music tracks with Mashala which we are slowly putting out on various labels, we made this music video recently for our track. Also we recently played at Roundhouse with Killa Kella and Xpress 2. Second time we've played with Kella and he was nice enough to agree to filming us some beatboxing backstage when Kevin Powder interrupted . But we will be getting some useable Kella shit someday hopefully.

Did go on to make a remix of Kevin Powder's Channel 4 Transmission bits. Also recently in one of those up till 6am moments recording this in my Kitchen. Some AMAZING remix projects out next month, not sure if i can talk about them will be up on front page soon though.

Round the World Again

Wow, what a rollercoaster. Geoff said to me the other day "how to process New York after I hadn't even had time to understand what happened in Tokyo". Sometimes it's like that, the odd city gets ram packed with information and meetings for us.

Tokyo was wicked. We were picked up from the airport and immediately handed schedule by Yoshi & Shin (picture above). They apologised for packing our week out so much, but i just turned to the others and said "i'm going to love this place". Ian had been in LA for a few weeks so we all met at Tokyo airport and went out for drinks. In first night we hooked up with Tomo, journalist who had interviewed us before in London and also GO , filmmaker/designer we had met up with internetcommunicationally before.  We had a bunch of interviews. We went to see Pioneer and check out their new DVJ1000 decks and enthuse about the global remix video happenings. As if that wasn't fun enough on top of the interviews and meetings with Japanese record labels we got to go to Rockstar games rooftop show flat to check out and play new games. Ended up showing them the Grand Theft Auto remixes we did, explaining my crack-like addiction to that game. Can't wait now for Vice City stories on the PSP. On our last day Daisuke turned up, an old friend of Hiroshi Kato, my ex-boss and good friend. Dai had been pushing the Method out there and we had been talking for years but was the first time we met. Had an excellent night then playing at UNIT to a rammed room. Afterwards we didn't sleep but instead drove straight to airport for flight to UK.

Got off plane and into geoff's newish (but now sadly broken) van. Geoff, the nutter/saint, drove us straight down to Bestival. Met Barry Ashworth on the ferry, bombed it down to Bestival got wristband thingys and ran to see Brian Eno and the Rachid Taha Band play, got half of their set before heading to Bollywood tent. Played 2 hours to packed out Bollywood tent then passed out in Geoff's van in a redbull whitey frenzy. Sunday was a chilled afternoon then we drove back. Had a week of lazying in bit in a bit of sick haze. Before getting up to fly to NY.

We got to Hotel where we were met by Greg Deocampo. Breifly afterwards our mate Chris showed up with about 10 people and lots of champagne and pretty soon we had a party on the balcony of the hotel room overlooking manhatten. Robotkid (Josh) and RNDM (Todd) showed up with their AV equipment and we headed over to Williamsburg, Brooklyn to meet our boy Justin Bolognino who was setting up a gig for Kotchy. We did a little playing of odd videos of a laptop between watching a nice nice AV set from Robotkid and RNDM, who were basically to our extreme satisfaction mixing up Acapella videos as well as highly movement centric bits of music videos. The next night we played at Salon in Manhatten. Nice nice show Salon had had a two week session with some excellent acts prior to us like Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC) and Jose Gonzalez. We played the closing show, some video of that show coming soon.

Last day i spent with Greg at his place, we went to IMAX to see Superman. Met up with Eli and Zac from Mediatronica and kicked back on Greg's roof. Back home now for a remix onslaught, literally loads of videos on their way in October/November. We working on some official remixes from Palm with some wicked reggae, hip hop, scratching and favela funk video styles. As well as that we still constructing the "new" mix DVD, out soon and a TV Show for Digital TV in the UK.

Gear Stick

We are often shifting from times of intense busyiness like 4 12hour flights in a week and 3 gigs, to times of relaxing, two weeks with no gigs. In these times when we make new stuff for the live show, remix videos, other projects. So a month has passed since i last wrote. The Fatboyslim DVD came out then we played a massive beach party in Mataro for St Juan festival, 7 year old kids with full on rocket fireworks, launching them at 10 to 45 degrees from the ground. What fun.

Did a few gigs in London (nice and close to home) Aka Bar, Lovebox, Koko. Then we went off to Ibiza to play/stay at Es Vive.

We played with Barry Ashworth and then i failed to sleep for 2 nights despite never leaving the hotel. A weekend with Barry and mates is not for the faint hearted and two weekends is definitely not survivable for me. All in all was great, even used enough lotion and didn't burn like a british lobster. Here's a picture of me and Ian gurning like muppets:

Next up we're off to Japan for our first time ever, not even Geoff has been there on any previous secret government mission. Looking forward to it. Absolutely shed loads happening, made a ton of remixes, check reports page/ downloads page.

We're working on music video mashup mix TV show for UK TV starting in next month, we got another mix DVD coming out in coming months. Some remixes i forgot about, did you see the chilipeppers megamix?

laze

Finally getting my head back to some sort of normality. Barcelona was amazing. We played in Mataro just north of Barcelona for the San Juan celebrations beach party. Thousands of people, one of the largest crowds we ever played to. And they were all still there when the sun came up. Fireworks exploding every few seconds for days. It was crazy, fireworks been fired over stage, kids letting of rockets in tunnels and against walls. Stayed in Barcelona for 4 days, moving around with friends but choosing to stay B Hotel for final day , and not leaving the hotel at all. Rooftop pool is amazing, one of my favourite hotels on the planet. Last time I was there was December so pool was not enjoyable but this time was hot and ridiculously fun.

Came back to London played the final Getty Images and then kicked back at my place watching the World Cup games. Oh Brazil !!!! well done France, Germany will probably win it.

At the moment we are working on Scanner Darkly remix, World Cup remix, Fatboyslim online video mix (coming this month), new podcast and EM tv show (more news on that soon). But first time to go to the park. London is hot!

Inforced Rest

wow, busier then we've ever been and now our bodies have begged for rest. June has seen us go round the globe. Starting New York then onto Sao Paulo where we played at Lov.e after first two gigs got cancelled at Vegas by the police. Some DVDs got nicked and after bribes paid by the saintly Facundo dvds now on their way back to us. Did the rest of the tour on half thrust, or half of our dvds. However Los Angeles was next and was excellent. Met many folk and will be back on the west coast before too long. Have to say we were naturally drawn towards Venice and spent everyday there with Amine, Miranda and other friends. Me and Geoff got sunburnt on the last day, blazed on Miranda's roof and then got on a plane to Sydney. Sydney gig was excellent although round the world fatigue and jetlag never seemed to leave us for that visit. We headed back to UK for 18 hours of rest before hopping on a flight to Seville for a gig in Cadiz with DJ Vadim. Ian and I were mucked up at this point, both coughing, sneezing, growning our way through airports, taxis and pharmacies. We made it, gig was excellent, variety of products held us up for the relevent 2 hours and we passed out in our hotel for two hours more sleep. Since getting back my head hasn't left the pillow or the sofa, been sleeping it off, only just recovering today, still got a blocked ear, and tomorrow we head for Barcelona where i have decided to waste a week instead of rushing back to London.

So so much going on it's hard to remember what i'm supposed to be doing. Fatboyslim DVD is out, a mix from us will be online as well in July. We got Battlebreaks DVD on it's way, working on a legit mix album. Remix of Scanner Darkly, bunch of stuff zooming past my head. Kevin Powder is on the new Transmission program every Friday night on Channel 4 in the UK, expect to see a powder explosion in the next 12 months. Jason Attar (aka Kevin Powder) has been working on his excellent site Telly Juice although they are slack to mention their Channel 4 show, Paramount Comedy daily video snippets and award winning comedic onslaught which is Kevin Powder. "Sh*t the bed f&^k off"

Report on New York

So a highly excitable week in NY. Went a few days earlier then the others to stay with Greg Deocampo (EBN) meet and experience all that he’s cooking over there. Got there on Sunday before our gig and just watched Daily Shows, The Colbert Report and Bill Maher on Greg’s Tivo till I feel asleep.

jt&amp;amp;gd.jpg

JT & GD

The next day we walked around the financial district got a fast history lesson on the first European settlers in New York, the first block in the world to get electricity from Edison, the bar they all got sloshed at before walking to their parliament. We went out for the night with our old friend Paul D Miller (aka DJ Spooky) and Jeremy from RES. Talked and drank and met people went to an exceptionally nice bar that was open to 5am to drink whiskey. Paul is heading London way this week to do a show at the Tate Modern, definitely worth checking out. Also got to meet Josh Pearson (EBN) for the first time, a truly honourable moment for me. Much like meeting Greg the first time. To further explain.... EBN were the guys cutting up TV and music videos in the early 90s that went on to inspire Us, Coldcut, Hexstatic, so many. They did the U2 massive video tour, cutting up President Bush the first to say “we will rock you” Queen Style. “Tonight I have ordered my generals to totally rock Baghdad”!

Greg and Josh went on to tell me millions more stories of EBNs parties, remixes, copyright experiences. Josh features in much of the EBN videos and is just a classic character , me and Greg sat by the Hudson river with him near his offices and he just had us in permenant stitches.

jp&amp;amp;jw.jpg

Ian and Geoff turned up mid week and we all went to hang out with Res Folk, drink to late. We went to hang with Justin and Baz on Bazz’s Balcony, watching movies projected on opposite building, playing playstation, that was the relaxing part.

The Friday gig was amazing the Hiro Ballrooms are indeed cool, looks like the room from Kill Bill so we absolutely had to play the Kill Bill remix in there.

Always a pleasure to play New York since we play so many relevant music videos and cutups. We got hammered, as is expected, I sprained my ankle then walked on it aided with booze for a bit to further compound it. So last two days were spent recovering. Back in London now recovering before we start work on next remixes. Next we are off on a complete circuit of the globe, Geoff’s 2nd journey round the world, me and Ians first. We are playing Sao Paolo, Los Angeles, Syndey and Cadiz in Spain in that order in that direction.

Around The World

Long time no write up. Well I been moving house, changing phone, disconnected from broadband. Emails piling up but so good to be back. Been travelling loads Canada, Spain, Germany, Ireland etc. We about to go on more travels. Going completely round the world for the first time in my life for the Getty Images tour, New York, Brazil, LA, Sydney, Spain, London in that order, in that direction. Can’t wait

We recently signed a deal with a label to do a mix DVD album, a legal one yes. If all goe’s ahead as planned should be out next year, unless the label come to their senses. Sooner then that though we will putting out our Battle Breaks DVD for budding DVJ players..... drum breaks, acapellas and all the sh*t you need. We are cutting as I write, more on that soon but basically the BB are going to be available on DVD and online to download as well, in high res.

Our Fatboyslim video megamix is finally getting a release and we’re allowed by the nice people at Skint to put parts of it online after that, so wicked. We’ve been doing cheeky megamix videos of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Prince recently as well as a megamix for Palm Pictures. We recently played for Twen FM in Berlin at their AV event we shared a flat with the Cartel Communique boys (jonny & mike) , Osymyso was supposed to join us to but had flight f**K ups at the airport. Was reminded once again , by watching all their videos in close succession, of the genius of the combined force of Cartel and Osymyso. I long for their videos to be available to download somewhere. I still don’t have everything.

Operations in Second Life are moving along, we have a media island now and several locations. If your in second life locate PAVL DUKE and check some of the stuff he’s been building. Also our old old friend Jerome Di Pietro, man responsible for eM introductions, has put up one of our old sites from premethod days, fader5000, on his Baroque Dub site.

Zebra Stampede

So we played for Trouble last night at the Vinyl Factory in London. Nice party was an early one, we played at 7pm and Jazzy B (Soul 2 Soul) played at 8.30. So by 10 we were all finished packed up and drunk. I went on with friends to check the Cuban Brothers at Andrew Maxwell's Friday night thing at the Comedy Store, side splittingly funny. Went afterwards with Archie from the Cubans and finally got to see DJ Yoda's DVD "Yoda at the Movies", excellent video scratching recording of his live show. My favourite bits being the light sabre fighting from star wars and dueling banjos, check it out. Came home this evening to meet up with Paul, Greg and others in Second Life to stampede a sex club dressed as Zebras, the things we do when bored. We have also been finishing up an official video remix for the new Antonio Banderas Movie "Take The Lead", which you will be available to check out online soon. Also we having been filming a few recent gigs, noticed we hadn't filmed anything for 8 months so we have put up a rough feed, which is basically just whats on the projectors, but a really good example of us in a live enviroment: Check the clips:

Dirty Disco , Leeds

Vinyl Factory, London

Also we are in the Res10, next issue of RES magazine and their is a dvd out as well.

Second Life

Check out Second Life. It is this alternate world where you build yourself an avatar to represent yourself and then travel around this alternate world. You can buy land, build stuff, interact with it, it's pretty changeable 3d enviroment. You can fly , walk, watch interact in many different ways, some which are yet to be invented. The most amazing development in Second Life is that the currency there is now exchangable to US Dollars, something like 1000 SL currency for 7 US Dollars. People are actually earning money building stuff and trading it in this 3d enviroment. You can also hear videos, watch music and vice-versa as you walk around. I is Jonny Taggart when i'm there.

SF recovery program

Was excellent, slept 12 hours when i got back after just sorting out our gigs, attempting to update the website and watching waking life on my new video ipod, which i fell asleep through, not a comment on the movie more on my complete knackerdness. Anyway thanks to everyone. What a week. Let me go on about it. Justin picked us up at SF airport and drove us straight to Apple where we got to walk around , check things out and play basketball, and also not smoke on the edge of the carpark. We then went back to our hotel and slowly all the folk from res turned up Jeremy, JT, Chris, Baz. Anyway spent 4 days in Cupertino and then went to SF and got lost for a few days as well as playing a stomping set to a sold out Rickshaw's Stop. Absolute love to Joe and other people there for sorting us a gig at such short notice. Anyway went to Heather's place in Oakland, filmed her insane cat. Went shopping, went shopping again, all of us succoumed to ian's trainer insanity and went trainer mad in San Francisco. Met up with Ian's old mate richard. I'll leave out all the bits about getting mashup and hottubs.

Cupertino, California

Sweet travels. We are in California. Joyous 1O hour flight made all the more easy by the fact i slept 8 hours of it. Got new mobile phones with 3gig hard drives so we've been ramming them with videos and movies and stuff to enjoy on travels. Not even sure i want to admit it right here but got stopped at customs for various naughtiness... they let me go, with a smile, what nice folk. We went straight to Apple Headquarters in Cupertino where we met the folk there and checked out their lovely facilities, no smoking anywhere! Went on the basketball court there until general shoddy looks from the more mature members of our party led us in doors for chats. Since then we went shopping, went into San Fran twice. Ian has partially satisfied his sneaker addiction, we got laser guns to shoot each other with, oh joy. Sat in the hottub and had an IN & OUT burger, dogs bollox mate dogs bollox. We playing this friday in San Francisco all details on the homepage live page stuff, i'm going to bed.

Don't know if you noticed yet but i'm obssessed with swimming pools

EBN & Jason Attar
We recently hooked up Greg Deocampo of EBN. Just to explain, EBN (Emergency Broadcast Network) were the pioneers of Audio Visual video media mixing in the early 90s. They did the video for U2 tour and created some legendary AV compositions, stuff we often drop in live sets and mixes, check Comply from the Bastard AV mix we did. EBN started all this before the computers had the capibility, so Greg developed bits of software to do it. One of these bits of software AfterEffects became like a standard for music video editors wanting effects and interesting video editing techniques on their computer. It was used for so many music videos in the 90s for people like Madonna. We are presently working on a few AV tracks and other projects with Greg and EBN. Check Greg's site and also check this excellent source of EBN videos set up by Joshua L. Pearson another of the EBN massive.

Also we are working with Comedian Jason Attar, bits of this poppin up in live shows at the moment. Check his character Kevin Powder and the one night in powder stuff.

Presently we are making AV remixes for the Cuban Brothers which is going to be up for download soon, their funkin funky mix album is coming out on Sunday Best extra specially soon. We're just making stuff these days new bootlegs, new remixes, new tracks. A lot of stuff coming out from us this year. We're off to California next week to do some gigs around San Francisco, gonna be in the states a lot this year. Check the loaded gig stuff.

Mashala

In 2000 whilst i was living in Mostar, Bosnia I met Narcis who had just returned from London, where i was on my way back to only half a year later. Last summer (2005) me and Narcis hooked up and formed Mashala are collective identity for the tunes we were making together. Anyway completely forgot to mention it before but we have set up a Mashala MySpace site with tracks we've made. Also two tracks are being released. "Get Podgy" , a technoish track featuring vocals from Stinkin Pavlich, is being released on the URBR label in Brazil and "Mostarac Pravi" is being released on PornStarMusic in Germany. Website being built at the moment.

We've been recording and making videos some illigitamate, some not. Check the belben track on the Method's MySpace page, it's a riff from a recent recording with multi-instrumentalist Paul Belben.
